Job Overview
As a Medical Billing Associate at Nobility MBS, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of the medical billing cycle. You will be responsible for ensuring that all billing processes—from verifying patient information to posting payments and resolving denials—are completed accurately and on time. This position requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with healthcare billing systems, and a commitment to maximizing reimbursement and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient demographic and insurance information in the practice management system to ensure billing accuracy
- Enter and post medical charges and insurance payments promptly and accurately in accordance with company protocols
- Identify, correct, and resubmit clearinghouse rejections and denied claims in a timely manner
- Follow up on outstanding claims regularly to maximize reimbursements and ensure client satisfaction
- Monitor assigned client accounts and work towards achieving positive results against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to information security standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, software support, and client teams to resolve billing issues
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisory or management team
